Trimble Construction One
The Trimble Connect integration will connect your Trimble Connect account live to the BauGPT assistant, so you can look up projects, files and BCF topics directly in chat.

Once the integration launches, the assistant will be able to search projects in your Trimble Connect account, look up files and folders within a project, and retrieve and summarize open BCF topics (issues, per the BCF 2.1 standard). The Viewpoint ERP accounting suite (Vista/Spectrum) and ProjectSight are separate systems with their own, disconnected APIs and are not part of this integration. The connection is planned as read-only — BauGPT will never change or write data in Trimble Connect.
What this integration does
Find projects in chat
You will be able to ask the assistant about a project and it will search your Trimble Connect account directly.
Look up files and folders
BauGPT will be able to retrieve a project's files and folders and find the right document in chat.
Query BCF topics
A project's open BCF topics (issues, clashes) will be available to look up and summarize in chat.
EU data region by default
BauGPT will connect to the European Trimble Connect region by default.
How to set it up

Join the waitlist to be notified as soon as the integration is available.

Prerequisite: your company needs a paid Trimble Connect license (not a free Personal account) and a Trimble ID on a corporate-domain email — Trimble explicitly excludes Personal accounts from the API. Best to confirm this before the integration launches.

Once available, you'll open Settings → Integrations in BauGPT Pro and choose "Connect Trimble Connect".

You'll sign in in the Trimble ID login window and authorize BauGPT for your Trimble Connect account. If the connection sits unused for more than 9 days, Trimble requires signing in again for security reasons; you'll just reconnect when that happens.

- When is the Trimble Connect integration coming?
- It's launching shortly. Join the waitlist to be notified.
- Can I connect Trimble Connect with a free (Personal) account?
- No. Trimble explicitly excludes Personal subscriptions from the API — you will need a paid Trimble Connect license with a Trimble ID on a corporate domain.
- Will BauGPT be able to change data in Trimble Connect?
- No. The integration is deliberately planned as read-only — BauGPT will retrieve data from Trimble Connect but never write or change anything there.
- Why will I sometimes need to reconnect?
- Trimble keeps the connection alive as long as it is used regularly. If it sits unused for more than 9 days, Trimble requires signing in again for security reasons — a quick, one-time step.
- Is the Viewpoint ERP accounting suite or ProjectSight connected too?
- No. Trimble Construction One bundles several independent products, each with its own API. BauGPT connects to Trimble Connect only (projects, files, BCF topics) — Viewpoint Vista/Spectrum and ProjectSight are technically separate and not part of this integration.
- How do I get early access?
- Join the waitlist, and we'll let you know as soon as early access becomes available.
