This integration will connect only to thinkproject CDE Enterprise — not other thinkproject products such as VDC/DESITE or CEMAR, which have their own interfaces not covered here. You generate your own personal API token (Personal Access Token) on your CDE Enterprise profile page; the Application Code and your CDE Enterprise instance base URL, however, are only issued by your personal thinkproject account contact. Once you enter everything in BauGPT, you will be able to ask in chat about projects as well as controlled documents and drawings from your CDE instance. The integration is planned as read-only — BauGPT will never change, create or delete anything in thinkproject.

What this integration does

• Find projects in chat

  BauGPT will search your CDE Enterprise instance's project list and return matches live.

• Look up controlled documents

  Drawings and controlled documents from the CDE document area (clipboard files) will become findable in chat.

• Clearly scoped access

  The integration will cover CDE Enterprise only — other thinkproject products stay out of scope.

How to set it up

   Join the waitlist to be notified as soon as the thinkproject integration is available.

   You generate your own personal API token on your CDE Enterprise profile page (under "API tokens") and ask your thinkproject account contact for the Application Code and your CDE Enterprise instance's base URL (e.g. https://www10.thinkproject.com/tp10) — those two thinkproject does not offer self-service for.

   You enter your username, API token, Application Code and instance URL in BauGPT Pro under Settings → Integrations → "Connect thinkproject".

Can I self-register for the thinkproject integration?

Partially. You generate your own personal API token on your CDE Enterprise profile page. The Application Code and your instance's base URL, however, are per thinkproject's own documentation only issued through your personal account contact — budget lead time for that.

Which thinkproject product will the integration cover?

CDE Enterprise only. thinkproject consists of several separate products (including VDC/DESITE, CEMAR), each with their own interfaces, not connected here.

Will BauGPT be able to change data in thinkproject?

No. The integration is planned as read-only — BauGPT will retrieve data from the CDE but never be able to write or change anything there.
