Do I need my own Sage Intacct account?

Yes, the integration will require an existing Sage Intacct account for your company.

Do I need to authorize anything special in Sage Intacct?

Yes. Your company will need an active Web Services license in Sage Intacct (not automatically included in every plan — check with your Sage account manager) and will need to authorize our sender ID in your company's Web Services permissions. This isn't a self-service step in Sage Intacct.

Do I need a separate API key?

No. You will connect with your company ID, your user ID and your normal Sage Intacct password.

Sage Intacct Construction

Sage Intacct Construction is cloud-native construction financial management with job costing, project estimates and change orders — the integration will connect your existing Sage Intacct account read-only to BauGPT Pro's chat via its XML API.

With the Sage Intacct Construction integration you will connect your existing Sage Intacct account (company ID, user ID and password) to BauGPT Pro. In chat you will then be able to ask directly about projects, project estimates, change orders, contracts and AP bills from Sage Intacct. Important: your company will need an active Web Services license in Sage Intacct for this (check with your Sage account manager if you're unsure), and will need to authorize our sender ID in its Web Services permissions — this isn't a self-service step in Sage Intacct. The integration will be read-only: BauGPT will only read data from Sage Intacct and will never change, create or delete anything there.

Look up projects in chat
You will be able to ask about your Sage Intacct projects — BauGPT will pull name and status live.
Search project estimates
BauGPT will be able to find cost estimates for a project directly in chat.
Look up change orders
You will be able to ask about open change orders for a project — status and description will come live from Sage Intacct.
Find contracts in chat
Project contracts from Sage Intacct will become searchable in BauGPT chat.
Look up AP bills
BauGPT will be able to find AP bills including vendor and status.

How to set it up

Join the waitlist to be notified as soon as the integration is available.

Once available, make sure your Sage Intacct company has an active Web Services license — check with your Sage account manager if unsure. This is a Sage prerequisite, not a BauGPT step.

In BauGPT Pro, you will enter your company ID, user ID and password under Settings → Integrations → Sage Intacct Construction.

If the connection fails: check in your Sage Intacct company's Web Services permissions whether our sender ID has been authorized — without that authorization, no connection can be established.
