What you will do with us
Who we are – Infrastructure that moves people HERING Bahnbau is a full-service provider for the new construction and renovation of traffic stations of all categories – from barrier-free modernization of small stops to the realization of complex engineering measures at busy stations. As an owner-managed family business based in Burbach, Siegerland, we combine multi-generational experience with the goal of not just building rail infrastructure, but improving it for the long term. With numerous DB pre-qualifications, powerful machinery, and a reliable partner network, we realize demanding projects primarily in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, and Rhineland-Palatinate – transparently, in partnership, and with an eye for what matters. If you're not afraid of responsibility, want to actively shape projects, and want to build infrastructure used by thousands of people every day – then let's build together.
Your tasks – Responsibility that leaves a mark
- Independent construction management of traffic station projects You manage demanding construction measures in the field of structural engineering and traffic stations – from work preparation to construction execution and final acceptance. You are fully responsible for quality, deadlines, and costs, working closely with work preparation and specialist departments.
- Coordination and leadership of the site team You lead everyone involved in the project technically and organizationally, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and ensure smooth construction processes under the special conditions of ongoing rail operations – including night and weekend shifts.
- Subcontractor and purchasing management You are responsible for selecting, commissioning, and managing subcontractors, working closely with central purchasing to achieve economical and high-quality solutions.
- Client and supplement management As the central contact person for the client – especially DB AG – you keep an eye on service specifications, supplements, and construction meetings, represent the project's interests confidently to the outside world, and ensure the project's economic success.
