What you will do with us

Details about the role and requirements

As an electrician (m/f/d), you make sure our modern snowmaking systems run smoothly and you’re basically responsible for the foundation of our ski slopes.

  • Installing, servicing, and maintaining snowmaking systems, pump stations, and the related infrastructure in the Garmisch-Classic ski area (Garmisch-Partenkirchen)
  • Monitoring and looking after the electrical systems during the snowmaking season
  • Troubleshooting and fixing faults during ongoing operations
  • Helping with setting up and dismantling the systems before and after the winter season
  • Further technical development and optimization of existing systems
  • Operating vehicles and occasional slope grooming

Work schedule model – seasonally adjusted: our work year follows the natural rhythm of winter:

Winter / snowmaking season (approx. November to February)

  • Willingness to do shift and night work is absolutely required
  • Flexible working hours depending on temperature and weather conditions
  • More intense team phase when every freezing hour counts

Summer months

  • Significantly reduced workload
  • Focus on maintenance, overhauls, and preparation
  • More predictable free time and balance compared to the winter season

If you have

  • completed training as an electrician, electronics technician for energy and building technology, or a comparable qualification
  • an independent, reliable, solution-oriented way of working
  • willingness to work shifts, nights, and weekends in winter
  • technical interest in alpine infrastructure and automated systems
  • a Class B driver’s license
