Your Tasks

For a leading construction company that has been an established family business in utility and waste management for over 40 years, we are looking for you as a Steel Welder (m/f/d) for our projects in the Ruhr area and to expand our team, with the following duties:

  • You'll do welding work on pipelines and steel structures in the gas, water, and utility network sector.
  • You'll use common welding processes (e.g., TIG, MAG, MMA) according to technical requirements.
  • You'll prepare and finish weld seams, including tacking, aligning, and post-processing.
  • You'll work according to technical drawings, isometrics, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
  • You'll visually inspect weld joints and support quality controls according to current standards and specs.
  • You'll carry out assembly work in pipeline construction and help with laying pipes.
  • You'll ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards on the construction site.
  • You'll document your work and coordinate closely with site management and the crews.

Your Skills

  • You have completed training as a welder, metalworker, plant mechanic, or a similar qualification.
  • You have valid welding certifications or are willing to get them.
  • You have experience in pipeline construction or welding utility lines, ideally in the gas or water sector.
  • You are confident in handling technical drawings and welding instructions.
  • You work carefully, reliably, and with a focus on quality.
  • You are physically fit and enjoy working outdoors on construction sites.
  • You bring teamwork, a sense of responsibility, and an independent way of working.
  • Ideally, you have a Class B driver's license and are ready for regional assignments.
