Estimator in Civil Engineering (m/f/d)
What you will do with us
Tasks
- You'll handle the cost estimation for construction and subcontractor services on engineering projects
- You're in charge of determining performance levels in coordination with work prep, and you'll spot opportunities and risks along the way
- You're responsible for quantity take-offs and plausibility checks
- You'll put together tender docs for subcontractors and suppliers and take care of evaluating the incoming bids
- You'll support technical controlling in setting up and maintaining the working budget
- You're responsible for creating supplementary cost estimates, including all the paperwork and sending out quotes to our clients
What we're looking for
- A degree in civil engineering or something similar
- Ideally, a few years of experience in estimating or managing complex engineering construction projects
- Your technical expertise is focused on structural/civil engineering
- Interest and drive to make projects a success
- Team player who can also work on their own
- Good with standard computer apps
- Experience with the RIB iTWO (Arriba) estimation software
