What you will do with us
We’re looking for a Timber Construction Detailer/Designer (m/f/d) on behalf of our client.
- The Job
- You’ll be creating shop drawings, production plans, and construction details using Cadwork 3D, converting 2D designs into 3D models.
- You’ll handle work preparation based on the project goals.
- You’ll put together material lists, quantity take-offs, loading lists, and shipping plans.
- You’ll be responsible for prepping machine data for CNC joinery (CAD-CAM interface).
- You’ll stay in close contact with internal teams like architecture, structural engineering, building physics, and fire protection, and coordinate with other internal and external specialist planners.
- As a Timber Construction Detailer, you’ll also take charge of BIM coordination.
- What You Bring to the Table
- A background as a carpenter, technical drafter/designer (focused on timber), experience as a foreman/site manager, or a degree in timber or civil engineering.
- Solid skills in CAD software and CAD-CAM processes.
- Strong design knowledge when it comes to timber construction planning.
- Experience with CNC machining and Cadwork is a big plus.
- Knowledge of German building regulations.
