Construction Site Manager (m/f/d) Civil Engineering (Saxony/Thuringia)

What You’ll Be Doing

Working for a leading construction firm, you’ll take on the following tasks:

• Managing projects for the construction and maintenance of fiber optic and copper networks.
• Coordinating and checking the work of subcontractors, especially in civil engineering.
• Keeping the construction process on track and handling site result controls.
• Leading and instructing the trade staff on-site.
• Planning and managing staff schedules and material logistics.
• Handling notices of construction delays and making sure defects are fixed quickly.
• Ensuring all technical and legal standards regarding quality, safety, and environmental protection are met during construction.
• Taking care of measurements, documentation, and final inspections.

What You Bring to the Table

• You have a completed trade or technical qualification, ideally as a Master Road Builder, Civil Engineer, or Construction Technician.
• You’ve got experience managing sites in civil engineering, cable laying, or fiber optic projects.
• You know how to lead both internal staff and subcontractors.
• You’re familiar with construction contract law (VOB) and technical standards.
• You’re tech-savvy and comfortable using MS Office, especially Excel.
• You work in a structured, independent way and have a high standard for quality.
• You’re a good negotiator and know how to handle customers and service providers with diplomacy.
