We’re looking for a Site Manager (m/f/d) for renovation projects on behalf of our client, starting at €4,500/month.

Full-time · Construction sites in Austria & Switzerland Primary residence: Within a 30 km radius of Hallein (Tennengau, southern Flachgau, Salzburg City, or neighboring German communities)

Our client is a real estate developer with its own construction company, specializing in the revitalization, repurposing, and conversion of existing properties, especially heritage-protected buildings. With a core team of about 8 skilled tradespeople and reliable external partners, our client handles high-quality construction projects in Austria and Switzerland—focusing on quality, sustainability, and architectural flair.

Your tasks

• Independently managing and organizing construction sites in Austria and Switzerland
• Scheduling, coordinating, and leading our internal site team
• Coordinating and managing external professionals and subcontractors
• Local site supervision (ÖBA) for internal and external work, including schedule, quality, and cost control
• Ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, and safety requirements
• Communicating with clients, authorities, planners, and suppliers
• Handling administrative procedures (submissions, notifications, building permits)
• Documenting progress and creating reports
• Supporting tenders, awarding contracts, and work preparation
• Participating in site meetings, inspections, and handovers

What you bring to the table

• Completed technical training in construction (HTL structural engineering, master builder, civil engineering, etc.) or equivalent knowledge through relevant work experience
• Several years of experience in site management—ideally in conversion/renovation
• Solid knowledge of Austrian building laws; familiarity with Swiss regulations is a plus
• An independent, forward-thinking, and responsible way of working
• A confident manner when dealing with specialist companies, authorities, and owners
• Driver’s license (Class B) and willingness to travel
• Primary residence within approx. 30 km of Hallein
