Your Role

We’re looking for you to join a leading construction company—an established medium-sized business with over 60 years of experience in pipeline, road, and civil engineering. You’ll be based in Büdingen or Kaiserslautern as a Civil Engineering Site Manager (m/f/d), handling the following:

• Managing construction and maintenance projects for fiber optic and copper networks.
• Coordinating and checking the work of subcontractors, especially in civil engineering.
• Ensuring smooth construction workflows and carrying out site result checks.
• Providing technical instruction and leading the site crews.
• Planning and managing staff schedules and material logistics.
• Handling notices of construction delays and ensuring defects are fixed quickly.
• Making sure all technical and legal requirements regarding quality, safety, and environmental protection are met on-site.
• Taking care of measurements, documentation, and final inspections.

Your Skills

• You have a completed trade or technical qualification, ideally as a Master Road Builder, Civil Engineer, or Construction Technician.
• You have professional experience in site management for civil engineering, cable laying, and/or fiber optic projects.
• You’re experienced in leading staff and managing subcontractors.
• You know your way around construction contract law (VOB) and technical standards.
• You’ve got great IT skills and are a pro with MS Office, especially Excel.
• You work in a structured, independent way and have a high standard for quality.
• You’re a good negotiator and know how to handle customers and service providers with diplomacy.
