What you will do with us
We’re looking for a Site Manager for Special Civil Engineering (m/f/d) in Langenfeld on behalf of our client.
Who our client is: For nearly 120 years, this leading name in the construction industry has stood for expertise and know-how in ground engineering and special civil engineering. Our client specializes in pile foundations, special foundations, excavation shoring, slope stabilization, and custom construction methods. Complex underground projects require tailor-made solutions, which is exactly what our client delivers thanks to their highly qualified experts, powerful machinery, and a wide range of specialized techniques. With a team of 50 employees based in Langenfeld, they handle construction sites all across Germany.
YOUR responsibilities:
• Organizing and managing demanding special civil engineering projects • Monitoring and coordinating specialist offices, suppliers, and subcontractors involved in the project • Taking charge of the project’s budget, contracts, scheduling, and quality • Handling billing, job costing, and site documentation • Managing the site in all contractual, economic, and technical matters • Communicating with clients and site supervisors • Supporting the estimation and work preparation phases • Responsibility for quality, meeting deadlines, and staying on budget
YOUR professional background:
• YOU have a degree in Civil Engineering (University/Technical College) • YOU ideally have several years of experience in site management for special civil engineering • YOU have solid IT skills (or are a quick learner with new software) • YOU are dedicated, work independently, and know how to hold your ground • Just as important as your technical skills are your enthusiasm, organizational talent, teamwork, a confident manner, and an entrepreneurial mindset
