Your Responsibilities

Energy supply and modern network infrastructure are the backbone of our society. IMD Infrastruktur GmbH specializes in the construction, maintenance, and renewal of supply lines as well as infrastructure projects in energy and pipeline construction.

To ensure our projects are implemented at the highest technical level and to maintain our certifications and quality standards, we are looking for an experienced Technical Manager and Specialist Supervisor in pipeline construction.

• You’ll take over the technical management and specialist supervision for projects in pipeline and cable construction.
• You’ll ensure that technical regulations and standards are met (e.g., DVGW and AGFW regulations).
• You’ll also support our locations as an operational project manager.
• You’ll provide technical guidance for projects—from planning to implementation on the construction site.
• You’ll evaluate construction work and help find technical solutions during the project.
• You’ll help with technical organization and quality assurance for our projects.
• You’ll assist in securing and further developing our technical standards.
• You’ll accompany audits and play an active role in maintaining our certifications.
• You’ll be the go-to person for technical questions regarding pipeline and cable construction.

Your Skills

• A degree in civil engineering, utility engineering, mechanical engineering, or a Master Craftsman / Technician qualification in pipeline construction, utility engineering, or gas/water network operations (or something similar).
• Several years of professional experience in pipeline or cable construction.
• Good knowledge of technical regulations (DVGW, AGFW, or similar).
• Experience in site management, project management, or technical supervision of infrastructure projects.
• A structured and responsible way of working.
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a love for working with construction and project teams.
