Your role in the company

In this position, you're responsible for the professional installation, configuration, and commissioning of modern video surveillance and security systems. You'll handle maintenance, error analysis, and repairs of existing systems and ensure they run reliably. You'll work independently on varied projects – from assembly and network connection to system integration and long-term technical support and optimization of systems at the customer's site.

  • Planning, installation, and commissioning of modern video surveillance systems (IP-based systems)
  • Configuration of cameras, recorders (NVR), video management systems (VMS), and network infrastructure
  • Integration of video surveillance into existing security and access control systems
  • Carrying out maintenance, updates, and system optimizations
  • Error analysis and troubleshooting via remote access or on-site
  • Technical advice and training for customers on the systems
  • Documentation of projects and service calls
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR)

What makes you stand out

  • Completed training in electrical engineering, information technology, IT systems engineering, or a similar qualification
  • Experience in video surveillance, security technology, or network technology
  • Good knowledge of IP networks (TCP/IP, VLAN, PoE)
  • Ideally experience with common VMS and camera manufacturers
  • Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
  • Customer-oriented appearance and strong communication skills
  • Fluent German skills (C1)
  • Driver's license class B
