Tasks at Geiger

  • Independent management and execution of permit procedures (e.g., BBergG, BImSchG, WHG/AwSV, BauO)
    • Preparation of permit documents
    • Coordination with / management of internal specialist departments, external experts, and engineering firms
    • Communication with permit authorities (e.g., LAGB, LVwA)
    • Support for scoping meetings, discussion procedures, and hearings
    • Creation of tenders in public and private procurement processes
  • Monitoring changes in legal frameworks and deriving necessary actions
  • Support in complying with existing permits
  • Planning and execution of projects

What we're looking for

  • Completed degree in environmental technology, geosciences, process engineering, mining, or a similar qualification
  • Several years of experience in permit management, ideally in a mining or industrial environment
  • Solid knowledge of relevant legal regulations (BImSchG, BBergG, WHG/AwSV, BauO)
  • Ability to explain technical content clearly
