Tasks at Geiger:
- Independent management and execution of permit procedures (e.g., BBergG, BImSchG, WHG/AwSV, BauO)
- Preparation of permit documents
- Coordination with / management of internal specialist departments, external experts, and engineering firms
- Communication with permit authorities (e.g., LAGB, LVwA)
- Support during scoping meetings, discussion procedures, and hearings
- Creation of tenders in public and private procurement processes
- Monitoring changes in legal frameworks and deriving necessary actions
- Support in complying with existing permits
- Planning and execution of projects
What we're looking for:
- Completed degree in environmental technology, geosciences, process engineering, mining, or a similar qualification
- Several years of experience in permit management, ideally in a mining or industrial environment
- Solid knowledge of relevant legal regulations (BImSchG, BBergG, WHG/AwSV, BauO)
- Ability to get technical content across clearly and simply
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, even when dealing with permit authorities
