Permit Management Specialist (m/f/d) Geiger brings people together who share one thing: a huge passion for what they do.

Your tasks at Geiger:
- Take the lead on managing and running permit procedures (e.g., BBergG, BImSchG, WHG/AwSV, BauO)
- Putting together permit application documents
- Coordinating with and managing internal departments, external experts, and engineering firms
- Chatting and coordinating with regulatory authorities (e.g., LAGB, LVwA)
- Supporting scoping meetings, discussion procedures, and hearings
- Creating tenders for public and private bidding processes
- Keeping an eye on changes in legal regulations and figuring out what needs to be done
- Helping make sure we stick to existing permits
- Planning and carrying out projects
What we’re looking for:
- A degree in environmental engineering, geosciences, process engineering, mining, or something similar
- A few years of experience in permit management, ideally in a mining or industrial setting
- Solid knowledge of the relevant laws (BImSchG, BBergG, WHG/AwSV, BauO)
- The ability to explain technical stuff clearly and get straight to the point
- An organized, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Great communication and negotiation skills, especially when dealing with authorities
