Tasks at Geiger
- Independent management and execution of approval procedures (e.g., BBergG, BImSchG, WHG/AwSV, BauO)
- Preparation of approval documents
- Coordination with/management of internal departments, external experts, and engineering offices
- Communication with approval authorities (e.g., LAGB, LVwA)
- Accompanying scoping meetings, discussion procedures, and hearings
- Creation of tenders in public and private procurement procedures
- Monitoring changes in legal frameworks and deriving necessary actions
- Support in compliance with existing approvals
- Planning and execution of projects
What We Look Forward To
- Completed studies in environmental engineering, geosciences, process engineering, mining, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in permit management, ideally in a mining or industrial environment
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legal regulations (BImSchG, BBergG, WHG/AwSV, BauO)
- Ability to clearly and understandably convey technical content
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, also in interactions with approval authorities
