Tasks at Geiger: * Independent management and execution of permit procedures (e.g., BBergG, BImSchG, WHG/AwSV, BauO). * Preparation of permit documents. * Coordination with / management of internal specialist departments, external experts, and engineering firms. * Communication with permit authorities (e.g., LAGB, LVwA). * Support during scoping meetings, discussion procedures, and hearings. * Creation of tenders in public and private procurement processes. * Monitoring changes in legal frameworks and deriving necessary actions. * Support in complying with existing permits. * Planning and execution of projects. What we're looking for: * Completed degree in environmental technology, geosciences, process engineering, mining, or a similar qualification. * Several years of experience in permit management, ideally in a mining or industrial environment. * Solid knowledge of relevant legal regulations (BImSchG, BBergG, WHG/AwSV, BauO). * Ability to get technical content across clearly and concisely. * Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working. * Strong communication and negotiation skills, also when dealing with permit authorities.
