Tasks at Geiger
- Independently manage and carry out approval procedures (e.g., BBergG, BImSchG, WHG/AwSV, BauO)
- Prepare approval documents
- Coordinate with/manage internal departments, external experts, and engineering firms
- Communicate with approval authorities (e.g., LAGB, LVwA)
- Attend scoping meetings, discussion procedures, and hearings
- Create tenders in public and private procurement processes
- Monitor changes in legal frameworks and derive necessary actions
- Support compliance with existing approvals
- Plan and execute projects
What we're looking forward to
- Completed studies in environmental engineering, geosciences, process engineering, mining, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in permit management, ideally in a mining or industrial environment
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legal regulations (BImSchG, BBergG, WHG/AwSV, BauO)
- Ability to clearly and understandably convey technical content
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work style
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, even when dealing with approval authorities
