Your tasks at Geiger
- Recording and handling fault reports
- Maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production systems
- Carrying out electrical and metalworking/fitters’ tasks
- Creating programs (Simatic S7) for PLCs (SPS) and operator interface (HMI)
- Creating technical documentation
- Monitoring and documenting all systems and system components that require mandatory inspections
What we’re looking forward to
- Completed technical vocational training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician for automation/industrial engineering, or similar
- Many years of professional experience
- Strong interest in working across mechanics, electronics, and IT
- Great hands-on skills and solid technical understanding
- Good knowledge of PLC programming
- Team-oriented, friendly attitude
- Staying calm and balanced even in stressful times
- Independent, efficient, and careful way of working
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to do training and further education
