Your tasks at Geiger
- Tracking and handling error reports
- Maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production plants
- Handling electrical and metalworking tasks
- Creating programs (Simatic S7) for programmable logic controllers (PLC) and user interfaces (HMI)
- Putting together technical documentation
- Monitoring and documenting all equipment and parts that require inspection
What we’re looking for
- A completed technical degree as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician for automation/industrial engineering, or something similar
- Several years of professional experience
- A big interest in mechanics, electronics, and IT
- Strong hands-on skills and a solid technical mindset
- Good knowledge of PLC programming
- A friendly, team-oriented attitude
- An independent, efficient, and careful way of working
- Staying cool even when things get stressful
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Willingness to keep learning and take part in further training
