Your tasks at Geiger:
- Driving and operating heavy machinery (e.g., MKA 25/30 and LTF 10) for daily transport and installation of backfill material underground, following the shift boss's instructions
- Daily visual checks of the equipment
- Carrying out basic care, maintenance, and repair work
- Reporting equipment faults to the mechanical engineering lead
- Setting up ventilation equipment
- Laying pipelines
- Checking and measuring deformation and feeler holes
- Pumping out solutions
- Helping out with special tasks like TSM tunneling, mining work, etc.
- Handling all kinds of drilling work
What we’re looking for:
- A completed vocational qualification, preferably in mining or a technical field
- Experience handling construction machinery
- General handyman skills
- Motivation, commitment, teamwork, and the ability to handle a challenge
- Physically fit for underground work
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Ideally, a Class C driver's license
