Your Responsibilities

For our subsidiary, K&T Infrastruktur GmbH—an established medium-sized company with over 60 years of experience in pipeline, road, and civil engineering—we are looking for a Civil Engineering Site Manager (m/f/d) at our Büdingen or Kaiserslautern locations to handle the following:

• You’ll be in charge of managing projects for the construction and maintenance of fiber optic and copper networks.
• You’ll coordinate and supervise subcontractor trades, especially in civil engineering.
• You’ll ensure smooth construction workflows and carry out site result inspections.
• You’ll take over the technical instruction and leadership of the site crew.
• You’ll be responsible for staff scheduling and material planning.
• You’ll handle notices of construction delays and manage timely defect rectifications.
• You’ll ensure all technical and legal requirements regarding quality, occupational safety, and environmental protection are met during construction.
• Creating site measurements, documentation, and handling the final handovers fall under your responsibility.

Your Skills

• You have a successfully completed trade or technical qualification, ideally as a Master Road Builder, Civil Engineer, or Construction Technician (m/f/d).
• You bring professional experience in site management for civil engineering, cable duct construction, and/or fiber optic projects.
• You have experience leading personnel and subcontractors.
• You have solid knowledge of construction contract law and technology (VOB).
• You have excellent IT skills and are proficient with standard MS Office programs, especially Excel.
• You stand out for your structured, independent way of working and high quality standards in project execution.
• You show a talent for compromise and diplomacy when dealing with customers and service providers.
