We’re looking for a Sales Manager / Key Account Manager (m/f/d) for Security Technology on behalf of our client.

Your Role in the Company

In this position, you’ll represent our client’s electronic security solutions and act as a go-to expert for customers. You’ll identify needs, develop fitting concepts alongside the technical departments, and guide projects from the first chat to a successful close. Experience with fire alarm systems is important here, as they are a core part of the portfolio. If you also know your way around other areas of security tech, that’s a huge plus. If you haven't mastered every system yet, the client will help you grow your knowledge step-by-step. What matters most is that you enjoy developing your skills and taking on responsibility.

Your Tasks at a Glance

  • Actively winning over new customers and growing existing business relationships.
  • Analyzing individual customer needs and developing the right technical solutions.
  • Giving convincing presentations of systems and services to decision-makers and users.
  • Working closely with the tech, project management, and service teams to craft tailor-made offers.
  • Managing the bidding and project process right up to the contract signing.
  • Keeping an eye on market and tech trends and bringing your own ideas to help improve sales.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • A completed technical or commercial vocational training with further qualification as a technician, master craftsman, or a degree—ideally in electrical, communication, or security engineering.
  • Several years of professional experience in security technology, focusing on fire alarm systems, with a willingness to keep learning about other systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., DIN 14675) is a plus.
  • Experience in technical sales, especially in solution-based and project business.
  • Strong technical understanding combined with a business mindset.
  • Confident communication and negotiation skills when dealing with customers, partners, and tech departments.
  • A structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working with plenty of initiative.
  • A strong focus on the customer and the ability to explain complex tech in simple terms.
  • Business-fluent German (C1).
