Welcome to Hannover!

A leading player in the construction industry is bringing several specialized fields together under one roof. Together, we represent nearly 60 years of expertise in security and telecommunications technology—ranging from fire alarms and voice alerts to comprehensive security solutions for businesses of all sizes.

As part of a team of over 500 colleagues, you’ll work on exciting projects using the latest tech, helping people and businesses stay safe. With our client, you have the chance to really make a difference for customers and for a secure future.

The job is based in the Hannover area, a state capital with endless possibilities. Since this location is currently being built up, you can expect a dynamic environment where you can truly help shape things.

Your Role in the Company

In this position, you’ll take full responsibility for project management in the fire alarm and video technology sector. The main focus is on planning, managing, and implementing fire alarm projects according to standards, as well as delivering high-end video tech solutions—from the initial technical design and financial management to successful handovers with authorities and experts. You’ll be the go-to person for customers, project partners, and authorities, ensuring everything is done to a high standard, on budget, and on time.

Your tasks at a glance:

  • Planning, managing, and implementing projects for fire alarms and video technology.
  • Ensuring fire alarm projects meet all standards (like DIN 14675).
  • Technical design of systems and coordination with planners, owners, authorities, and the fire department.
  • Coordinating and leading project teams (technicians, installers, draftsmen).
  • Taking charge of quality, deadlines, and costs throughout all project phases.
  • Creating quotes, calculations, and supplemental offers alongside sales and management.
  • Handling technical and commercial project management from order to handover.
  • Overseeing commissioning and inspections by experts and authorities.
  • Documenting project progress and handling regular controlling and reporting.
  • Advising customers on modernization, expansion, and renovation projects.

Experience with other systems like intrusion alarms, access control, or voice alerts is a plus but isn't the main focus here.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • A technical background with further training as a technician, master craftsman, engineer, or similar in electrical/security engineering.
  • Several years of solid experience managing fire alarm projects and video surveillance systems.
  • Great knowledge of relevant standards (DIN 14675, VDE 0833-2, VdS, MLAR).
  • Experience handling complex projects (commercial, industrial, or public sector).
  • Confidence dealing with authorities, experts, and external partners.
  • Experience leading and coordinating project teams.
  • A good head for business, including experience with calculations, quoting, and change management.
  • A structured, responsible, and solution-oriented way of working.
  • Fluent German (C1 level).
  • A Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.

The Perks

  • Permanent employment contract.
  • A crisis-proof industry.
  • 30 days of vacation.
  • 40-hour work week.
  • Modern tools and tech (iPhone, iPad).
  • A company car, also available for private use.
  • Weekend work is rare to non-existent.
  • Multi-day trips only happen if you explicitly agree to them.
  • Training and development opportunities for your career and personal growth.
  • Option for mobile work.
  • Private pension scheme.
  • "JobRad" (bike leasing).
  • Team events.
  • Potential for non-cash benefits.
