Project Manager (m/f/d) for Fire Alarm Systems
What you will do with us
We’re looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) for Fire Alarm Systems (BMA) on behalf of our client.
Welcome to Hannover!
A leading player in the construction industry is bringing several specialized fields together under one roof. With nearly 60 years of combined expertise in security and telecommunications—ranging from fire alarms and voice alerts to full-scale security solutions for businesses of all sizes—they know their stuff.
As part of a team of over 500 colleagues, you’ll work on exciting projects using the latest tech, helping people and businesses stay safe. This is your chance to make a real impact for customers and for a safer future.
The Hannover branch is right in the heart of Lower Saxony and offers endless possibilities as the state capital. Since our client is currently building up this location, you’ll find a dynamic environment where you can really help shape things.
Your Role
In this position, you’ll take full ownership of project management for fire alarm systems (BMA). The focus is on planning, managing, and implementing BMA projects according to standards—from the initial technical design and financial management to successful handovers with authorities and experts. You’ll be the main point of contact for clients, project partners, and authorities, ensuring everything is high-quality, on budget, and on time.
Your tasks at a glance:
- Plan, manage, and execute fire alarm system (BMA) projects.
- Ensure everything meets standards like DIN 14675.
- Handle technical project design and coordinate with planners, builders, authorities, and the fire department.
- Lead and coordinate project teams (technicians, installers, drafters).
- Stay on top of quality, deadlines, and costs throughout all project phases.
- Create quotes, calculations, and supplemental offers alongside sales and management.
- Manage the technical and commercial side from order to handover.
- Oversee commissioning and official inspections.
- Document project progress and handle regular controlling and reporting.
- Advise customers on modernization, expansion, and conversion projects.
Experience with other systems like intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, or voice alerts is a plus, but not the main focus here.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- A technical background with further training as a technician, master craftsman, engineer, or similar in electrical/security engineering.
- Several years of solid experience in project management for fire alarm systems (BMA) – this is a must.
- Great knowledge of relevant standards (DIN 14675, VDE 0833-2, VdS, MLAR).
- Experience handling complex BMA projects (commercial, industrial, or public sector).
- Confidence dealing with authorities, experts, and external partners.
- Experience leading and coordinating project teams.
- A good head for business, including experience with calculations, quoting, and change management.
- A structured, responsible, and solution-oriented way of working.
- Fluent German (C1).
- A Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
The Perks
- Permanent employment contract.
- A crisis-proof industry.
- 30 days of vacation.
- 40-hour work week.
- Modern gear and tools (iPhone, iPad).
- A company car, also available for private use (1% rule).
- Weekend work is rare to non-existent.
- Multi-day trips only happen if you’re explicitly okay with it.
- Training and development opportunities for your career and personal growth.
- Option for mobile work.
- Private pension scheme.
- "JobRad" (bike leasing).
- Team events.
- Access to various non-cash benefits.
