What you will do with us
- Tasks
- You're in charge of the purchasing process in civil engineering and ensure compliance with defined processes and standards.
- You manage the strategic and operational purchasing of subcontractor services, supplies, and services for civil engineering projects in your region.
- You prepare tenders in a structured way and conduct tender and contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
- You lead your purchasing team both technically and disciplinarily, set priorities, manage goals, and develop your team further.
- You work closely with construction management, costing, and project management, create clear decision-making bases, and ensure reliable implementation in the projects.
- You further develop purchasing strategies, framework agreements, and standards and use key figures/reporting for management.
- What we rely on
- Completed commercial or technical training (e.g., industrial clerk), business administrator/construction specialist, alternatively a degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or similar.
- Several years of experience in purchasing, ideally in civil engineering or infrastructure construction, in a leadership role.
- Experience in technical and disciplinary leadership as well as in managing teams along clear goals, budgets, and priorities.
- Very good understanding of construction services, tender and contract processes, and secure application of relevant basics (VOB, HOAI, BGB).
- Very good German skills, both spoken and written.
