Your Role in the Company
In this position, you’ll take charge of planning, managing, and implementing security technology projects. You’ll coordinate technical, organizational, and commercial workflows to ensure projects are completed efficiently, meet all standards, and keep customers happy—from the initial planning phase right through to the final hand-off.
Your Tasks at a Glance
- Planning, managing, and executing security tech projects (e.g., fire alarms, intruder alarms, video surveillance, access control).
- Coordinating and leading project teams (technicians, installers, drafters) and staying in close contact with customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Keeping an eye on quality, deadlines, and costs throughout all project phases.
- Creating quotes, cost estimates, and supplemental offers in collaboration with sales and management.
- Handling technical and commercial project management—from order placement to final acceptance.
- Acting as the go-to person for customers and authorities (e.g., fire departments, experts, site management).
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., DIN 14675, VDE 0833, VdS, MLAR).
- Advising customers on technical solutions as well as modernization and expansion projects.
- Documenting project progress and handling regular controlling and reporting.
- Organizing training and development for those involved in the projects.
What Makes You Stand Out
- A technical background with further training as a technician, master craftsman, engineer, or a similar qualification in electrical/security engineering.
- Several years of experience in project management within the security tech sector (BMA, EMA, CCTV, access control).
- Solid knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (DIN 14675, VDE 0833, VdS, MLAR).
- Experience in leading and coordinating project teams.
- Proficiency with project management tools; knowledge of CAD and documentation systems is a plus.
- A good grasp of business basics, including cost estimation, quoting, and change order management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with clients, partners, and authorities.
- A structured, responsible, and solution-oriented way of working.
- High level of commitment and motivation to see projects through to success.
- Fluent German skills (C1).
- A Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel within the local region.
