What you will do with us
We’re looking for a Senior Site Manager (m/f/d) on behalf of our client for projects in the Munich area and Southern Germany.
- The Job
- You’ll take full charge of managing civil engineering projects in Munich and across Southern Germany.
- You’re the one responsible for the performance and bottom-line results of your assigned projects.
- You’ll make sure deadlines are met and quality stays top-notch.
- You’ll lead the project and site teams and keep everyone safe on the job.
- You’ll handle the strategic hiring and management of subcontractors.
- You’ll be in charge of creating and pushing through any necessary change orders.
- What You Bring to the Table
- A degree in Civil Engineering or something similar.
- Several years of experience running civil engineering projects.
- Experience as a Senior Site Manager or a solid track record in site management.
- A good handle on the relevant construction laws, regulations, and standards.
- Tech-savvy with standard office software, RIB iTWO, and digital tools.
- Leadership skills, great negotiation tactics, and the ability to hold your ground while still being a team player.
- An entrepreneurial mindset.
- A strong focus on workplace safety.
- An open mind (or even better, actual experience) regarding BIM and Lean Construction.
- Lots of initiative and an independent, results-driven way of working.
- Willingness to travel, including some regional trips.
