Project Manager (m/f/d) for Structural Engineering in Conventional Tunneling

We’re looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) for structural design in conventional tunneling on behalf of our client.

• What you’ll be doing
  • You’ll lead and guide project teams in structural design for civil engineering and tunneling.
  • You’ll make sure tender and construction projects are planned perfectly in terms of timing and budget by managing internal and external design teams.
  • You’ll be responsible for structural calculations in tunneling and civil engineering to ensure everything is ready for the construction site.
  • You’ll set budgets and keep an eye on costs and deadlines throughout the project.
  • You’ll spot any deviations from the contract and handle the creation and follow-up of change orders.
• What you bring to the table
  • A degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s or Diploma).
  • Several years of solid experience in a similar role, specifically in conventional tunneling (shotcrete method).
  • Deep knowledge of structural design for tunneling and construction planning.
  • Strong IT skills are a must; experience with SOFiSTiK or SOFiPLUS is a big plus.
  • A conceptual, analytical, and structured way of working with a focus on finding solutions.
  • Great communication, assertiveness, and negotiation skills.
  • You’re a team player.
  • Fluent German (written and spoken) and good English are required.
  • French skills are a bonus.
