What you will do with us
We’re looking for a Senior Site Manager (m/f/d) in Civil Engineering for the Hegau/Lake Constance area on behalf of our client.
The Job
- You’ll take full charge of managing civil engineering projects in the Hegau/Lake Constance/Southwest Germany region.
- You’re responsible for the performance and bottom-line results of your assigned projects.
- You’ll make sure deadlines are met and quality stays top-notch.
- You’ll lead the project and site teams and keep everyone safe on the job.
- You’ll handle the strategic hiring of subcontractors.
- You’ll be in charge of creating and pushing through supplementary claims (add-ons).
What You Bring to the Table
- A degree in Civil Engineering or something similar.
- Several years of experience running civil engineering projects, ideally working with Deutsche Bahn.
- Experience as a Senior Site Manager or a solid track record in site management.
- A good handle on construction laws, regulations, and standards.
- Tech-savvy with standard office software, RIB iTWO, and digital tools.
- Leadership skills, negotiation chops, and the ability to hold your ground while still being a team player.
- An entrepreneurial mindset.
- A strong focus on workplace safety.
- An open mind and ideally some experience with BIM and Lean Construction.
- High motivation and a self-driven, results-oriented way of working.
- Willingness to travel, including some regional trips.
