Your tasks – challenging, responsible, impactful

• Setting up and improving structures, processes, and tools for cost control and monitoring
• Checking cost targets and advising the client on adjustments as the project moves along
• Allocating and updating the project budget across procurement packages
• Ongoing tracking and analysis of cost-related info to update total cost forecasts
• Analyzing change orders, extra costs, savings, and other budget changes
• Comparing budget, contract, billing, and forecast values
• Creating projections, forecasts, and cash flow plans in close coordination with project leads
• Running regular cost reviews and preparing decision-making materials for clients and project management
• Building and maintaining project-related risk management with a focus on costs
• Taking charge of cost-related reporting
• Actively developing processes and supporting our cost management tools

Your profile – experience meets drive

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or something similar
• Several years of experience in cost management or cost controlling for building or infrastructure projects
• Good knowledge of structuring and managing budgets, procurement packages, contracts, change orders, and forecasts
• Great Excel skills and experience with standard cost control software; knowledge of PROBIS, poolarproject, or similar systems is a plus
• Strong affinity for databases and systems; knowledge of SQL-based data structures is a bonus
• Confident and reliable manner when dealing with internal and external project partners
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good German skills (written and spoken)
