Tasks at Geiger

• Helping with the preparation and development of monthly reporting as well as analyzing results, key figures, and business developments
• Carrying out target-performance comparisons, variance analyses, and profitability assessments including deriving sound recommendations for action
• Participating in annual planning, budgeting, and intra-year forecasts for our business areas
• Working on group-wide controlling projects, especially in the introduction and development of controlling tools, reporting solutions, and the implementation of our controlling strategy
• Creating ad-hoc evaluations, decision templates, and presentations for departments and management
• Supporting the digitalization and automation of controlling and reporting processes

What we're looking for

• Successfully completed business studies, ideally focusing on controlling, finance, or accounting
• Initial practical experience in controlling, finance, or accounting—for example through internships, working student jobs, or first professional experience—is a plus
• Strong understanding of numbers as well as an analytical and structured way of thinking
• Interest in developing processes and actively shaping changes
• High level of initiative, willingness to learn, and reliability
• Team player mentality and motivation to achieve success together
• Very good German skills
