Claims Management Project Engineer

We’re looking for a Project Engineer for Claims & Change Management on behalf of our client in the Freiburg area.

• Your Tasks
  • You’ll be in charge of managing supplementary claims (Nachtragsmanagement).
  • You’ll handle deviations from the original scope and prep the groundwork for claim calculations alongside the ops teams.
  • You’ll put together the actual claim calculations, including all the paperwork and formal offers for the client.
  • You’ll play a part in clarification meetings and negotiations with the client.
  • You’ll keep an eye on submitted claims and stay in constant loop with project management.
  • You’ll be responsible for creating and updating claim overviews and site-specific documentation.
• What You Bring to the Table
  • A solid technical mindset.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or a Master Craftsman/Technician certification in the main construction trades.
  • Several years of experience in estimating, billing, or site management for civil engineering and industrial projects.
  • Good knowledge of contract law (VOB/BGB).
  • Strong communication skills and great people skills.
  • Negotiation savvy and the ability to hold your ground.
  • An independent work style, high level of commitment, and a team-player attitude.
  • Proficiency with standard office software (MS Office, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with RIB iTWO is a plus.
