Design Coordinator / Project Manager (m/f/d)

We’re looking for a Design Coordinator / Project Controller (m/f/d) on behalf of our client.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinating and managing the detailed design phase for timber-hybrid and sustainable architecture projects.
• Keeping an eye on external design firms to make sure they’re sticking to the latest regs, technical standards, and contract requirements.
• Making sure designs are actually buildable, with a real focus on how things work on-site.
• Helping get projects over the finish line while keeping quality, deadlines, and costs on track.
• Acting as the go-to person for all design-related questions within the project team.
• Teaming up with everyone involved to find smart solutions when challenges pop up.
• Bringing your own creative ideas to the table and working independently within a multi-disciplinary team.

What you bring to the team

• A degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• Experience in detailed design, design coordination, project management, or something similar.
• Solid knowledge of technical trades and current industry standards/regulations.
• A passion for sustainable building and modern design methods (especially BIM).
• The ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and make sure goals are met.
• Great communication skills, plenty of motivation, team spirit, and a structured, solution-oriented way of working.
