Your responsibilities
- For our subsidiary, HJ-Pitzen Infrastruktur GmbH, a successful civil engineering company headquartered in North Rhine-Westphalia with 65 in-house employees plus additional subcontractors, we’re looking for a civil engineering worker (m/f/d) for our location in Metelen or Essen, starting as soon as possible, with the following tasks:
  - You dig pits and trenches by hand and with machines.
  - You’re responsible for laying utility lines and restoring surfaces (asphalt/bitumen, paving stones, and slab surfaces).
  - You operate and handle civil engineering equipment and machinery, especially wheel loaders, mini excavators, and mobile excavators.
  - You set up construction sites independently.
  - You’re responsible for creating building service connections.
Your skills
- You’ve completed vocational training as a civil engineering worker (m/f/d) or have a comparable qualification—or you’re a career changer (m/f/d) with interest and a strong willingness to learn.
- Ideally, you already have some initial experience in civil engineering.
- You have a Class B driver’s license.
- You’re a team player and work independently.
