Your Responsibilities
- You manage all technical-operational guidelines across the group and ensure that construction projects meet economic, quality, and strategic goals.
- You act as a technical partner to management, evaluating construction methods, equipment requirements, drilling and deployment techniques, and the feasibility of operational demands.
- You define technical standards and guidelines for civil engineering, pipeline construction, horizontal drilling technology, and the installation of all supply and disposal lines (water, gas, electricity, telecom).
- You ensure quality compliance with the six-stage construction process—from the proposal phase to warranty—through an overarching control and guideline function, continuously developing processes, systems, and uniform standards for all operational companies.
- You establish a group-wide quality management system and ensure its effective implementation through audits, analyses, and action management.
- You contribute to proposal strategies, complex calculations, awards, and technical contract and change order management at the group level.
- You manage the strategic allocation of resources and capacities across the group—including construction machinery and special equipment (e.g., HDD drilling rigs)—in close coordination with subsidiaries.
- You drive the digitization of technical and quality-related processes, represent the group internally and externally, and significantly shape its technical development.
Your Skills
You have a degree in civil engineering or a comparable engineering program with a strong focus on civil or pipeline construction.
You have experience in a technical leadership or management role, ideally with group-wide or cross-location responsibilities.
You bring solid experience in civil and pipeline construction—preferably in pipeline construction, cable duct construction, or utility line installation.
Ideally, you have knowledge or project experience in the energy/utility sector (water, gas, electricity, telecommunications).
You are proficient in handling the VOB and have experience in technical contract and change order management.
You can methodically evaluate technical issues, construction methods, and equipment requirements and derive reliable recommendations for management.
You have experience in setting up, implementing, and managing processes, as well as applying a quality management system—including audits and KPI-based management.
You act with strong initiative, assertiveness, and flexibility, combining this with a clear, appreciative leadership style and high technical and analytical competence.
