Your tasks at Geiger
- Preparing surfaces for corrosion protection (cleaning, grinding, sandblasting)
- Applying coatings to steel components using the airless spray method
- Applying surface protection systems to concrete components using a 2K hot spray system
- Making sure coating thickness and quality meet the specs
- Doing touch-ups and repairs
- Following workplace safety and environmental protection rules
- Taking care of and maintaining spray equipment and tools
What we’re looking for
- Completed vocational training in corrosion protection, painter/coater (m/f/d), or a similar qualification (preferred)
- Experience with airless spraying of coatings (e.g., paints, primers, protective coatings)
- Experience using surface protection systems with 2K hot spray units is a plus
- Know-how in processing corrosion protection and surface protection systems
- Good technical understanding and willingness to use our training opportunities
