What you will do with us

Details about the role and requirements

INTILION stands for future-proof and sustainable energy storage solutions for commercial businesses, industry, and grid infrastructure—making sure power stays on continuously.

Our site is in Paderborn (NRW), which will also be your main workplace. Up to 20% of your working time you’ll be out on field assignments.

How you keep the energy flowing:

  • Analyzing and fixing complex technical issues: You’re the go-to expert for tricky cases escalated from first-level support—mostly remote, and occasionally on-site.
  • Remote maintenance and diagnostics: You identify and fix faults in our battery storage systems remotely using diagnostic software and analysis tools.
  • On-site support when needed: For especially tough problems, you jump in on-site to troubleshoot directly at the system and work closely with our Field Service team to implement solutions.
  • Technical customer support: You communicate professionally, clearly, and solution-focused with our technical contacts (e.g., installers, planners, end customers with a technical background).
  • Documentation and knowledge management: You create and maintain technical documentation and service reports, and actively help build and maintain our knowledge base.
  • Interface role: You work closely with Product Management, Development, and (if needed) Field Service to continuously improve our products and services.

What you already have stored up:

  • Training/experience: Completed technical training (e.g., electronics technician for energy and building technology, mechatronics technician) with further qualification (technician/master craftsman) or a degree (Bachelor/Master) in electrical engineering, energy engineering, or similar.
  • Technical mindset: Solid technical understanding, ideally in power electronics (inverters, DC/DC converters), protection technology, and measurement technology.
  • IT skills: Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow, Salesforce) and CRM software.
  • Communication/languages: Strong customer and service focus plus very good written and spoken communication skills (German) and good English skills.
  • Soft skills: Strong problem-solving skills, structured and independent way of working, team spirit, and resilience—even in stressful situations.
  • Driver’s license class B, willingness to travel for occasional assignments, and willingness to be on-call by prior arrangement.

Our benefits—so your battery stays charged:

  • Strong team spirit & togetherness // You’ll become part of the #INTILIONfamily! Strong cohesion and an open, appreciative way of working together define us—and make every team event something special.
  • Attractive package // Along with your monthly salary and a performance-based bonus, we also offer an employer-funded pension plan and capital-forming benefits.
  • Flexible working // To help you balance everything in your life, you’ll have very flexible working hours—both in the office and at your mobile workplace. Plus, you get 30 days of vacation to recharge.
  • Fully charged and easy to reach // Charge your EV at our office location on attractive terms. We’re also in a great spot for transport links, with quick access to the highway, Paderborn main station, and the city center.
  • Modern health management // Your health matters to us! That’s why we offer ergonomic workspaces, various health-promoting options, and access to our bike leasing program.
  • Startup vibe // Our office is a real highlight—get inspired by the open layout with plenty of space to connect. And for in-between, there are free cold and hot drinks.
  • Development // Growth is just as important to us as it is to you—so if things go well, we’ll also support your long-term development opportunities.
