What you will do with us

Details about the role and requirements

INTILION stands for future-proof and sustainable energy storage solutions for businesses, industry, and grid infrastructure to ensure continuous power supply.

The company is based in Paderborn (NRW), which will also be your main workplace. Up to 20% of your working time will be spent on field assignments.

How you keep the energy flowing:

  • Analyze and solve complex technical issues: You're the expert for challenging cases escalated from first-level support, both remotely and occasionally on-site.
  • Remote maintenance and diagnostics: You identify and fix errors in our battery storage systems remotely using diagnostic software and analysis tools.
  • On-site support when needed: For particularly tricky problems, you actively assist in troubleshooting directly at the facility and work closely with our field service team to implement solutions.
  • Technical customer support: You communicate professionally, clearly, and solution-oriented with our technical contacts (e.g., installers, project planners, end customers with a technical background).
  • Documentation and knowledge management: You create and maintain technical documentation, service reports, and actively contribute to building and maintaining our knowledge database.
  • Interface function: You work closely with product management, the development department, and possibly the field service to contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services.

What you already have in store:

  • Education/Experience: Completed technical training (e.g., electronics technician for energy and building technology, mechatronics technician) with further training (technician/master) or a degree (Bachelor/Master) in electrical engineering, energy technology, or similar.
  • Technical affinity: Basic technical understanding, ideally in the field of power electronics (inverters, DC/DC converters), protection technology, and measurement technology.
  • IT skills: Experience with ticket systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow, Salesforce) and CRM software.
  • Communication skills/Languages: Strong customer and service orientation as well as excellent communication skills in spoken and written German and good English skills.
  • Soft skills: High problem-solving competence, structured and independent working style, teamwork, and resilience even in stressful situations.
  • Driver's license Class B, willingness to travel for occasional assignments, and willingness for on-call duty after prior arrangement.
