Buyer for Building Construction (m/f/d)

Tasks

• You independently handle purchasing activities for subcontractor and supplier services in the turnkey construction or industrial construction sector.
• You actively participate in the bidding and execution phases of projects.
• Regional and national volume pooling with our framework contract partners to improve the price base is part of your responsibilities.
• You contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and collaboration across all internal units (cross-functional).
• Active category management (category analyses and strategies) is part of your role.
• You implement bundling, supplier, and negotiation strategies as directed by the Central Procurement Department in Germany.
• You are responsible for the entire purchasing process.

What We Rely On

• Completed studies in civil engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable degree, or completed training or technician qualification.
• Several years of professional experience, preferably in the building materials trade (at least 3 years).
• Broad expertise in operational and strategic purchasing as well as a very good technical understanding.
• Good legal knowledge (VOB, HOAI, BGB).
• Good communication skills for building internal and external networks.
• Negotiation skills, assertiveness, entrepreneurial thinking and action, and a high level of initiative.
