Design Manager for Major Turnkey Construction Projects (m/f/d) Cologne
What you will do with us
Tasks
- You coordinate and manage the planning processes across all project phases
- You act as the link between the client, planning partners, specialist engineers, and the construction team
- You make sure planning stays on schedule, within budget, and meets quality standards
- You check and approve planning documents
- You manage planning changes and the change management process
- You lead planning meetings and coordinate between different disciplines
- You ensure compliance with norms, standards, and official regulations
- As a Design Manager (m/f/d), you support project management with contracts and technical decisions
What we're looking for
- A degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a similar qualification
- Several years of experience in planning, site management, or planning management
- Solid knowledge of HOAI, VOB, and relevant standards and regulations
- Experience managing complex construction projects and planning teams
- Good skills in CAD/BIM and common project management tools
- Analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication and assertiveness
- Team spirit and great organizational skills
- Willingness to travel and work at construction sites/project locations within Germany
