What you will do with us

Details about the role and requirements

If you want to do more than just drive – become a professional driver at ALGECO!

Do you want to be on the move – but not in the same place every day? If you like taking responsibility, have your truck under control, and don't need every day to be the same – then you're in the right place with us. As a floater, you'll drive for ALGECO to different locations. You deliver our space solutions to customers – on time, safely, professionally. This ensures that construction sites can start, offices can work, and schools can teach. In short: You bring space where it's needed.

Your mission with us:

  • You handle deliveries and pickups in the region – and if needed, beyond – ensuring everything runs smoothly
  • You coordinate your routes closely with dispatch and depots, making sure everything arrives on time
  • You handle trucks, trailers, and crane setups safely and responsibly – traffic safety and site security are your top priorities
  • You load and unload containers and accessories, assist with assembly and disassembly on sites, and align container units precisely
  • You hand over smaller units directly to customers and document all work steps carefully
  • Vehicle and material maintenance are naturally part of your daily work – keeping the tech in shape is a matter of honor for you

What you bring:

  • You have a Class CE driver's license with a valid driver card – ideally complemented by a forklift or crane license
  • You already have experience as a driver in local or long-distance transport, as well as completed further training according to BKrQG
  • Reliability, independence, and a keen eye for the big picture define you – you know what needs to be done without being told
  • You interact with customers in a friendly, professional, and service-oriented manner
  • Technical understanding is just part of who you are, and you quickly adapt to new tasks
  • You speak good German (at least B2) and are flexible and enjoy traveling – being on the road is not a must for you, but part of your strength

Why Algeco?

Because you're not just looking for a job, but want to be part of a company that drives modular space solutions across Europe. With over 150 locations, 330,000 space units, and a commitment to quality and safety, we shape the future together – not just containers.
