What you will do with us
Vastbau GmbH, based in Gronau, was founded in 1992 and is a subsidiary of the Dutch Vastbouw Group. The Vastbouw Group is a family-run business and operates internationally. Besides locations in the Netherlands and Germany, there's also a branch in Poland. The whole group employs about 500 people, with nearly 30 working in Gronau. Our tasks cover everything from snagging land and project development to actually finishing the buildings. So, we stick with our construction projects from the first stone to handing over the keys. Our goal is always to create sustainable living spaces. We think the secret is good communication mixed with innovative thinking and action.
We're looking for you to join our Gronau office full-time.
What you'll be doing:
- Helping develop our building projects from concept to completion on your own
- Working closely with project management, the estimating teams, the commercial department, and the construction sites
- Coordinating and checking in with subcontractors
- Taking charge of construction prep
- Quantity surveying and creating bills of quantities
- Creating and working out detailed drawings
- Helping out with orders and awarding contracts
- Checking plans and coordinating with planners and consultants
- Work preparation department

Your profile:
- A degree, relevant training, or several years of work experience (e.g., civil engineering, architecture, real estate, or construction management)
- Independent, organized, and careful way of working
- Good negotiation skills and a confident way of dealing with customers and partners
- Technical and analytical skills
- Lots of commitment and a team-player attitude
- Good with MS Office
- Very good German skills, both spoken and written
- Drive to boost sales and develop innovative ideas and solutions
