  Founded in Hamburg in 1988, ABS Asphalt-Beton-Service GmbH & Co KG is part of the KUTTER Milling Group and offers its customers competent and service-oriented support in all tasks related to milling, cleaning, cutting, and crushing. At the Kaltenkirchen and Neukloster locations, more than 50 highly qualified employees ensure that every job is completed with the best quality and within the specified timeframe. Specially trained machine personnel and well-trained technicians ensure optimal handling of the machines. The experienced sales staff and site managers provide expert advice and develop solution concepts for all construction site situations.
  To support our branch at the Neukloster location, we are looking for a construction manager (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
• YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the branch manager in offer calculation including order acquisition
  • Organize and manage construction sites with the goal of optimal cost-effectiveness
  • Close coordination with dispatch to ensure timely completion of construction sites
  • Billing of construction sites in close collaboration with the branch team
  • Support and advise our clients in coordination with the branch manager and maintain contact
  • Assist the branch manager in the technical and disciplinary management of the commercial employees of the Neukloster milling branch
  • Market observation and analysis as well as qualified acquisition of new customers and orders in the defined target area
  • Implement strategic goals in collaboration with the branch manager
• YOUR BACKGROUND
  • Successfully completed studies as a civil engineer, alternatively several years of professional experience as a foreman or road construction master or a businessperson with a technical affinity
  • Experience in the service and sales sector, ideally in road construction/milling services
  • Experience in managing commercial personnel is an advantage
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Very good communication skills, assertiveness, and persuasiveness
