What you will do with us
We’re looking for a Deputy Operations Manager (m/f/d) for the Zugspitze Cable Car and Glacier Cable Car in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Your tasks:
- Operating and monitoring our cable car systems (Zugspitze Cable Car and Glacier Cable Car) in Garmisch-Partenkirchen or Grainau
- Making sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently
- Carrying out inspections, maintenance, and repair work
- Troubleshooting and fixing technical issues
- Supporting the Operations Manager with organizational and day-to-day operational tasks
- Stepping in for the Operations Manager when they’re away
- Complying with and implementing legal requirements and internal safety standards
- Assisting with official inspections and technical checks
- Looking after our guests (visitor guidance/flow)
- Training and upskilling employees in passenger assistance and as operators (m/f/d)

If you have:
- Completed technical training (mechanical/electrical) (e.g., cable car technician, mechatronics technician, fitter, industrial mechanic, electrician, or similar)
- Solid technical understanding and a strong sense of responsibility
- An independent, reliable, and structured way of working
- Team spirit and willingness to lead
