Your role in the company
In this position, you’ll take full responsibility for project management in the area of fire alarm systems (BMA). The clear focus of this role is on planning, managing, and implementing BMA projects in line with all relevant standards—from the first technical concept and commercial management through to successful acceptance with authorities and inspectors. You’ll be the key point of contact for customers, project partners, and authorities, making sure all projects are delivered with high quality, on budget, and on time.
Your tasks at a glance
- Planning, managing, and delivering projects in the field of fire alarm systems (BMA)
- Ensuring standards-compliant implementation according to common standards such as DIN 14675
- Technical design/planning and coordination with specialist planners, clients, authorities, and the fire department
- Coordinating and leading project teams (technicians, installers, draftspeople (all m/f/d))
- Responsibility for quality, deadlines, and costs across all project phases
- Preparing quotes, cost calculations, and change-order offers in collaboration with Sales and Management
- Technical and commercial project execution from order placement through to acceptance
- Supporting commissioning as well as inspections/acceptance by experts and authorities
- Documenting project progress plus regular controlling and reporting
- Advising customers on modernization, expansion, and conversion projects in the BMA area
Additional trades like intrusion alarm systems (EMA), access control systems, video surveillance, or voice alarm systems (SAA) are a plus, but not the main focus of this role.
What sets you apart
- Completed technical training with further qualification as a technician, master craftsman, engineer, or a comparable qualification in electrical engineering / security technology
- Several years of solid experience managing fire alarm system (BMA) projects – required
- Very good knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (DIN 14675, VDE 0833-2, VdS, MLAR)
- Experience handling demanding BMA projects (commercial, industrial, or public-sector clients)
- Confident dealing with authorities, inspectors, and other external contacts
- Experience in leading and coordinating project teams
- Strong commercial understanding plus experience with costing, quoting, and change-order management
- Structured, responsible, and solution-oriented way of working
- Business-fluent German (C1)
- Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region
