Your Role in the Company

As a Technician in Security Technology, you're responsible for the proper electrical installation and preparation of our fire and intrusion alarm systems. You lay the technical groundwork so that our service technicians can later program and commission the systems. You work according to clear plans and guidelines on our construction sites, ensuring that all components are correctly installed, connected, and prepared.

Your tasks at a glance:

  • Electrical installation of fire and intrusion alarm systems
  • Laying and connecting cables to detectors, modules, control panels, and distributors
  • Mechanical installation of detectors, signal devices, control panels, enclosures, and mounts
  • Preparing systems for later commissioning (e.g., clean labeling, documentation, order in the control cabinet)
  • Performing simple functional and visual checks as instructed
  • Identifying and reporting installation deviations or errors
  • Documenting completed work and coordinating with project management or service technicians
  • Laying cables and lines according to plan (surface-mounted and flush-mounted, routes, pipes)
  • Adhering to all safety, quality, and installation guidelines on the construction site

What Sets You Apart

  • Completed technical or craft training, e.g., as a Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Mechanic, Electrician, or similar qualification
  • Experience in assembling or installing mechanical or electrical components is desirable
  • Confident handling of tools and measuring instruments
  • Basic knowledge of reading technical drawings and circuit diagrams
  • Craftsmanship, technical understanding, and careful work style
  • Teamwork and reliability in dealing with colleagues and supervisors
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style
  • Willingness for regional installation assignments
  • Fluent German skills (C1)
  • Class B driver's license
