The Wahl Group is a family-run craft business based in Seelze near Hannover. For over 75 years, we've been working with around 400 employees in the fields of electrical engineering, security, and information technology. We're a pragmatic and caring partner with a forward-thinking growth strategy, keeping us ahead in the electrical trade.

We're looking for dedicated technicians for data infrastructures (m/f/d) at our Braunschweig location.

The Tasks

  • Independently handle fiber optic and data technology installation work in buildings, larger campus environments, and the FTTx area
  • Blowing work in public street areas
  • Laying, splicing, and measuring fiber optic cables
  • Troubleshooting and repairing existing systems

The Requirements

  • Vocational training as a telecommunications, information electronics technician, or electrician with further training in fiber optic and data technology
  • Flexibility
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Class B (3) driver's license

  • Working Hours: We usually work 40 hours a week from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and on Fridays until 1:30 PM. Overtime is managed in a time account.
  • Vacation: With a 5-day workweek, you get 30 vacation days. Additionally, 4 plus and 6 minus days are possible through salary conversion.
  • Further Training: Regular team exchanges, attending seminars and product training; we offer comprehensive opportunities for personal development.
  • Digitalization: Hours worked are recorded via an app, as are vacation requests and tool management. Company communication mainly happens through a messenger service.
