Telecom Technician (m/f/d)

The Wahl Group is a family-run craft business based in Seelze near Hannover. For over 75 years, we've been working with around 400 employees in the fields of electrical engineering, security, and information technology. We're a pragmatic and caring partner with a forward-thinking growth strategy, keeping us ahead in the electrical trade.

To expand our team in Stöckse, we're looking for a telecommunications technician (m/f/d) for year-round outdoor work in the northern German region as soon as possible.

The Tasks

• Installation of telecommunications sleeves
• Troubleshooting in telecommunications networks
• Evaluation of cable monitoring measurement data
• Documentation of completed projects
• Maintenance work on cable installations and compressed air systems
• Instruction of external companies and support of safety measures

The Requirements

• Completed training as a telecommunications electronics technician (m/f/d), information electronics technician (m/f/d), communication electronics technician (m/f/d), or similar
• Initial work experience is desirable
• Reliable and independent working style
• Motivation and customer orientation
• Willingness for professional development

• Compensation package: Expect a standard hourly wage, a special payment, company health insurance, and the option to lease a bike. Overtime and distant assignments are extra compensated, and high-quality work clothing and tools are provided.
• Working hours: We usually work 40 hours a week from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM and until 1:30 PM on Fridays. Overtime is managed in a time account. Depending on your location, there may be short-term remote assignments (1-4 days).
• Vacation: With a 5-day workweek, you get 30 vacation days. Additionally, 4 plus and 6 minus days are possible through salary conversion.

• Digitalization: Hours worked are recorded via an app, as are vacation requests and tool management. Company communication primarily happens through a messenger service.
