Electrician for Trade Shows (m/f/d)

The Wahl Group is a family-run craft business based in Seelze near Hannover. For over 75 years, we've been working with around 400 employees in the fields of electrical engineering, security, and information technology. We're a pragmatic and caring partner with a forward-thinking growth strategy, keeping us ahead in the electrical trade.

We're looking for dedicated electricians (m/f/d) to join our 10-person team for work at the Hannover fairgrounds.

The Tasks:

• Setting up temporary power supplies for exhibition stands
• Installing all kinds of electrical systems
• Service and maintenance work in the field of electrical installation in the exhibition halls

The Requirements:

• Completed training as an electrician (m/f/d) or electrical installer (m/f/d)
• Some work experience is desirable
• Reliable and independent working style
• Team spirit, motivation, and customer orientation
• Willingness for professional development and weekend work
• Class B driver's license (BE is a plus)

• Compensation package: Expect a salary regulated by tariff with 13 monthly salaries, company health insurance, and the future option to get a JobRad. Overtime is collected in a time account and can be reduced. Overtime pay is directly paid out, and there's a bonus for past weekend work. High-quality work clothing and tools are, of course, provided.
• Working hours: We usually work 40 hours a week from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and until 1:30 PM on Fridays. Before, during, and after the fairs we support, overtime and weekend work are common. However, these assignments are planned and coordinated in advance.
• Vacation: With a 5-day workweek, you get 30 vacation days. Additionally, 4 plus and 6 minus days are possible through salary conversion.
• Training: Regular team exchanges, seminar visits, and product training; we offer comprehensive impulses and opportunities for personal development.
• Digitalization: Hours worked are recorded via an app, as are vacation requests and tool management. Company communication mainly happens through a messenger service, and important information and documents are stored in the Wahl Portal.
